Short answer: No Fewpips account can be reset once it breaches. Futures-Based CFD payouts can be partial or full, need no open positions and enough equity above your Max Loss Limit floor. Instant accounts pay on a 14-day cycle or On-Demand once you are more than 5% up, the $3,000 Instant has a 5% trailing Max Loss Limit and no daily loss limit, CFD funded accounts carry a 40% consistency rule (50% on Futures-Based CFD), and every Fewpips drawdown trails your highest equity.

These are the six questions traders asked our support team most often in the first two weeks of September 2026. The answers below match our Trading Rules and the FAQ. If you ever see two different answers, the Trading Rules page is the source of truth.

1. Can I Reset My Account?

No. None of our accounts can be reset, on CFD or Futures-Based CFD. Once an account breaches, it is closed and a new account has to be purchased.

Do not confuse this with a cycle reset. A cycle reset is one of the remedies applied when a payout is blocked by the consistency rule, and it does not close the account.

2. What Are the Payout Rules for Futures-Based CFD, and Is There a Buffer Requirement?

  • Profit split: 80% on your first three payouts, 90% from the fourth onwards.
  • Minimum withdrawal: $100.
  • Partial or full withdrawals, you choose the amount, with a 3% processing fee.
  • No open positions when you make the request.

There is no fixed buffer percentage, but there is a hard practical constraint. Your Max Loss Limit floor is set against the highest equity your account has reached, and a withdrawal does not move that floor down. If you withdraw an amount that drops your equity below the floor, the payout engine will still process the withdrawal and the account will then breach automatically.

In practice: leave enough equity above your MLL floor to survive the withdrawal, and check your current floor before you request.

3. How Soon Can I Withdraw Profits on an Instant Account?

Every CFD and Futures-Based CFD Instant account has two routes to a payout, and Futures-Based CFD Instant accounts have a third:

RouteWhen you can requestAvailable on
Standard cycleEvery 14 calendar daysAll Instant accounts
On-DemandAny time your balance is more than 5% above your starting balanceAll Instant accounts
Bi-Weekly Reward Add-OnEvery 7 daysFutures-Based CFD Instant only

On every route you also need to have met the minimum trading days for your account size (2 to 5 days depending on size), and a day only counts if at least one trade was held open for 3 minutes or more. The 5% figure is the On-Demand trigger only. It is not a general eligibility threshold.

4. What Are the Drawdown Limits on a $3,000 Instant Account?

The trailing Max Loss Limit on a $3,000 Instant account is 5%, and there is no daily loss limit on Instant accounts. The full size-by-size table is in the Trading Rules.

5. Does the Instant Funded CFD Account Have a Consistency Rule?

Yes. On CFD funded accounts, no single day's profit may exceed 40% of the cycle's total profit. On Futures-Based CFD accounts the threshold is 50%.

Breaching it does not breach or terminate the account. It prevents the payout until your total cycle profit grows enough to bring that day back under the threshold. The Increase Consistency Rule add-on raises the threshold by 10% and must be purchased at checkout. The new $100K CFD Instant account has no consistency rule. For worked examples, read how the consistency rule works.

6. Is the Max Loss Limit on an Instant Funded Account Trailing?

Yes. Every Fewpips account uses a trailing drawdown. There is no static or fixed-drawdown option anywhere in the product range. The limit is applied to the highest equity your account has reached, not your starting balance, and it is recalculated continuously.

That means the dollar value of your drawdown allowance widens as the account grows, and the floor rises with it and does not come back down. It is also why a withdrawal can breach an account, as explained in question 2.
